Orange Apple and Carrot Juice

February 2nd, 2010

I love carrot juices because the sweetness is just right. You can also use carrot juice as base to mix with other fruit and vegetables juices. My favorite is Orange, Apple and Carrot Juice.

Ingredients:

i: 6 to 8 medium size carrots

ii: 1 Apple (I do this way because I don’t like to add too much sweetness to my juice, but you can definitely cut down on carrots and add more apples.

iii: 2 Oranges

Directions: Core the apple, wash carrots thoroughly with cold water and then cut off the carrot tips. I rather not slice them off but sometimes, it’s just very hard to completely rinse out the dirt particles from the tops. So I just cut them. Then just run them through a carrot juicer (make sure that you carrot juicer can handle whole carrots, otherwise just chop them into smaller pieces before running them through your juice extractor). Juice oranges and mix the orange juice with the apple and carrot juice. Viola, you have the perfect juice that you can ever ask for.

**One thing to consider with oranges is that you have juice them separately but they don’t take very long to juice and it’s worth a little extra. You will know what I am talking about when you will take your first sip.
